Following on from the success of our poignant acts of Remembrance last year and Poppies To Paddington in 2020, we are making plans for Routes of Remembrance 2024.

Communities across the globe are getting involved in sending and transporting wreaths and tributes which will visit poignant and important landmarks and locations connected with honouring those who have served.

Routes of Remembrance 2023 will connect communities, countries, organisations and hundreds of people in special and unique acts of Remembrance.

If you would like to be involved, please contact us via email to contact@veteranscharity.org.uk

THE FORCES MARCH IS BACK FOR 2025!

We are excited to say that our hugely popular challenge event, The Forces March, is returning for 2025!

Based in a legendary ww2 training march from Ilfracombe to Bulford, the event is held over 5 consecutive days and attracts people from all backgrounds who come together to take on the stunning and highly demanding all-road route.

The Forces March is enjoyed by serving military, Veterans, civilians and both corporate and emergency services teams.

Participants join either as individuals or as a team, running or walking to follow in the footsteps of the heroes of WW2.

The 137 mile route begins in the famous North Devon coastal town of Ilfracombe and heads across Exmoor, into rural Somerset, across the Levels and winds its way into Wiltshire and across Salisbury Plain before finishing at Bulford Camp.

The Falklands Challenge 2025

Returning for a third successive year, The Falklands Challenge has become a hugely poignant and very popular event which honours those who served in the South Atlantic in 1982.

The 10-mile 'yomp' follows a route along the South West Coast Path from Instow Beach to RMB Chivenor, taking in stunning views and passing through Yelland, Fremington, Bickington, Barnstaple and Heanton before finishing at the memorial garden at RMB Chivenor.

All participants receive a bespoke commemorative medal and those who choose to fundraise and exceed £75, will also receive a free VC Hoodie as a thank you.

Open to all ages and for those unable to make it to North Devon for the live event, there is a virtual option too!
