Every year, we deliver urgent and vital support to hundreds of Veterans and their families.

Hardship can cause intense distress and be a trigger for serious mental health issues so a rapid response is essential.

The Veterans Charity has been the immediate needs support provider for Veterans since 2011. In that time, we have provided support to more than 6000 Veterans for essentials such as food shopping, clothing, household/homeware, communications and utilities.

We operate from a small office in Devon and do not have teams of paid staff. Our core operating costs are kept to an absolute minimum in order to ensure that donations and funds raised are put to the best possible use - supporting Veterans in their hour of need!

We are mostly self-funded and generate most of our income from public donations and events which we attend or organise.

Your generous support will enable us to continue meeting the urgent needs of our Veterans.

  • £25 will pay for a tasty pizza delivery for a family who are struggling to make ends meet and have no food. This is a common scenario that we encounter but we arrange for an almost immediate delivery of a hot and tasty meal to sustain them until a supermarket delivery can be made the next day.

  • £85 will buy a brand new smartphone which will enable a Veteran to maintain vital communications with family, friends, support networks and even help with employment searches and online courses/self help.

  • £125 will provide a very comprehensive food shopping delivery complete with toiletries and household products and even pet foods where required, for a Veteran and their family who are facing dire hardship.
