Routes of Remembrance.png

If you are the adventurous or sporting kind, create a challenge to raise funds and awareness for The Veterans Charity, as part of Routes of Remembrance.

Whether you enjoy walking, running, cycling or another activity, do something challenging and poignant to help us continue delivering vital support for Veterans who face hardship and distress, whilst also helping to honour those who have fallen as a result of service of our country.

The possibilities are almost endless but here's a few suggestions to help get your creative thoughts flowing...

  • Hike/walk/cycle/run between two poignant locations, finishing somewhere fitting to get some great photos with a VC Poppy Wreath or VC Roundel (which we can provide at cost).

  • Get together with friends and family and walk/cycle a popular route associated with the railways and/or military history.

  • Host a 1940's-style event and raise funds by selling cakes, hosting a raffle or asking people to donate for a ticket to attend.

  • Ask your school to get involved in sponsored activities such as sports days, silences or even creating some art which you can then give in return for donations.

There are lots more ideas and tips in our Fundraising Guide which you can download by clicking the button below.
